Welcome to King's Kids Page

What is a King's Kid? A King's Kid is a child who is coming to know and follow our Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ. Each week our KKs learn about King Jesus and what He has taught us. KK children memorize his Word and seek to glorify Him by trusting and obeying Him at home and school. In short, a KK is becoming a disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ.

King's Kids is a weekly Bible club for children K – 6th grade.

Core Components

  • Bible Lessons: We know that faith comes by hearing, and that by hearing the Word of God (Romans 10:17) The Spirit-backed Word of God instructs us of God's truth. It convicts us of our sin. It also reveals and illuminates God's glory and love for us. Each week we teach an age-appropriate lesson to our King's Kids. We employ object lessons, fun games, and interesting story-telling to accomplish our goals of faith and discipleship.
  • Bible Memorization and Bible Q & A: A child's mind is like a sponge. They can quickly memorize not only Scripture but the big truths of Christianity through a catechism-like Bible Q & A memory drills. Each week the child is challenged to memorize a new verse. The Bible Q & A consists of a modified and abbreviated version of the Westminster Shorter Catechism of Faith.
  • Evangelism: Our goal is to see the hearts of our children regenerated (born-again) by the Holy Spirit. Each week we share the gospel and encourage the children to respond in faith to its message of salvation.
  • Monthly family events are planned for the purpose of fellowship and sharing the gospel with friends and family. These include:
    1. Chili Cook-off (February 5th)
    2. Can Olympics (March 11th)
    3. "Don't be a Fool" Night & Joke Contest (April 1st)
  • Fun and Joy: Yes, we love to have fun! The message of Jesus is a joyful message of reconciliation with our Creator and each other. We seek to reinforce that message with a welcoming and affirming atmosphere for each child.
  • Discipleship: No child is too young to become a disciple of Jesus Christ. Our first desire is that your child come to know the Lord Jesus. We then seek to instruct them in the way of our Lord through Bible teaching and memorization.
